EXPERTISE Andres Mendoza
received a Bachelor of Architecture from Universidad Piloto de Colombia 1996 and a Master of Architecture from Universidad Polictecnica de Cataluña in 1999. He has spent over twenty years making rigorously simple architecture that speaks of the fundamentals but is also modest in character. His body of work spans a broad range of scales and typologies, from private houses, warehouses, commercial, workplace, home additions, garage conversions, retrofit and interior remodels in three different countries, Barcelona Spain, Bogota Colombia and California USA.
Formerly GrupoM, the Bogota city based firm has been designing and building in various countries since 2008, the firm’s identity evolved into ARK4DESIGN Los Angeles based, founded to produce well-designed, high-quality projects to reflect the nature of the practice: architects involved in all aspects of the design.
